Wow! This painting was pure inspiration today. I did it pretty quickly too, I thought it would take longer. I may work on it some more, but I was loving it today and so excited about it, I needed to post it. Tomorrow I will see it in daylight, I can tell if it will need more work, then.

Craft: the magazine

I was blown out of the water the first time I picked up the issue of Craft. The first issue of this wonderful magazine was thrilling to read. I loved everything about it... the articles, the photos, the size.

The second issue was even better than the first. I mean, LOOK at this cover!

Needlefelted fruit! Wow! Don't they look yummy? I need a subscription.

I dream of knitting and yarn

Have you ever worked on a project that just consumes you? You love how everything is going so far and want to work on it to finish it as soon as possible... I am working on such a project. I am making something for me, just me and I swear, all I want to do is knit. I am making this and can't wait to be able to wear it. I am making a summer version in Lion Brand Incredible tape ribbon yarn in Autumn Leaves. Oh this is coming out so pretty so far. I am a bit nervous about the cable knit in the front, but I think I can do it. I am in the search now for another tank tunic for summer that I can knit in a cotton next.

A new location! Lov.li

I recently discovered a new location for artists to hang out. It's calle lov.li and it looks pretty decent so far. I see some fellow etsian have made it there already. I think I like it better than Deviant Art. It seems lighter in spirit there.
